Happy April, everyone! It has been an incredibly productive month here at Noxide. Between hosting our first major game jam and sponsoring local esports, the energy in our space has been electric. Here is a look at what we’ve been up to.

We were proud to host our very first on-site event: Ludum Dare 58, in partnership with the Baltimore Indie Game Developers (BIG). As one of the world’s most iconic game jams, Ludum Dare challenges creators to build a complete game from scratch in just 72 hours.
The weekend kicked off Friday night with the theme announcement: "Signal." From that moment until Sunday evening, Noxide became a hub of rapid prototyping and creativity. We hosted a great mix of solo developers and small teams working around the clock. Thanks to our high-speed infrastructure, we maintained a continuous Discord livestream, allowing remote developers to participate in the energy of the physical space.
By the Sunday showcase, our participants had produced six unique games. Projects ranged from avant-garde audio-survival titles to fast-paced digital party games.
We are inspired by the talent in the Baltimore dev scene and are already planning our next developer-focused event.

Level Up Summit & The Smash Arena
On April 25th, Noxide headed into the heart of the city to sponsor the Level Up Summit in Baltimore. It was a fantastic day of panels and workshops centered on the future of esports and game development.
While the Marvel Rivals collegiate tournament took center stage, Noxide hosted a featured Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. The competition was fierce, but ultimately, we crowned our second-ever Noxide Smash Champion: Shuffler! Congratulations on a hard-fought victory.
Looking Ahead
Supporting the local gaming ecosystem—from the people who play games to the people who build them—is at the core of what we do. Thank you to the BIG community and the Level Up organizers for making this month so memorable.
Stay tuned to our socials for upcoming event announcements. We’re just getting started!
Keep on playing, The Noxide Team
