About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Community Manager to be the voice and heartbeat of Noxide Esports. This role is responsible for growing, engaging, and nurturing our community both online and in-person. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers and fans, fostering a positive, inclusive, and exciting environment. Requirements

Key Responsibilities


  • Community Engagement:

    • Act as the primary moderator and manager of our Discord server, social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook), and other online platforms.

    • Engage with the community daily by responding to comments, DMs, and questions in a timely and professional manner.

    • Organize and host online community events, giveaways, and contests to drive engagement.

  • Content Creation:

    • Create and schedule engaging content (text, image, video) that highlights our events, facilities, and community members.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming tournaments, leagues, and special events.

    • Capture photos and videos of in-person events and a daily "slice of life" at the arena to share on social media.

  • Event Support:

    • Serve as a welcoming and enthusiastic presence during in-person events and tournaments.

    • Assist with the coordination and execution of tournaments, from registration to managing brackets (experience with platforms like Challonge or Start.gg is a plus).

    • Gather feedback from the community to help improve events and services.

  • Customer Service:

    • Handle community inquiries, feedback, and customer support issues with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.

    • Escalate critical issues to management as needed.

  • Reporting:

    • Track key community metrics (e.g., member growth, engagement rates, sentiment) and provide regular reports to management.



Qualifications

  • Proven experience in community management, social media management, or a related role, preferably within the gaming, esports, or entertainment industries.

  • Deep passion for and knowledge of video games and esports, including a strong understanding of popular titles like Call of Duty, Dota 2, Counter Strike, Valorant, League of Legends, Smash Bros., Fortnite, etc.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience managing Discord servers is a must.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software).

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support events.

  • Experience with tournament software (e.g., Challonge, Start.gg) and live streaming is a significant plus.
